Last May it was revealed that the USDA spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on cultural sensitivity training. Now video of the shameful event has been released and you can hear government employees basically being taught to be racist, repeating bizarre claims such as the Pilgrims being illegal immigrants. Glenn calls it one of the worst videos he’s ever seen and says we should call Congress to get them to halt funding ASAP. Share this story, get it viral and hopefully put an end to this total misuse of taxpayer funds.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is coming under fire for hosting a “compulsory”* ”Cultural Sensitivity Training” program that required some intriguing participation of those in attendance. In addition to being implored to bang on tables, everyone in the room was instructed to chant, in unison, “The pilgrims were illegal aliens.”
But that’s not the full extent of the curious elements surrounding the session, as the lead trainer also joked that he doesn’t like the word “minorities” and that he prefers to replace it with “emerging majorities.”
After nine months of waiting for the government to release the video content, clips of the three-hour session were published this week by Judicial Watch, a conservative watchdog group. It was on May 18, 2012, that the organization first made a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to secure the footage.
In the videos, sensitivity trainer Samuel Betances is shown encouraging the audiences to repeat phrases like "The pilgrims were illegal aliens" and "America was founded by outsiders who are today's insiders". He appears to endorse illegal immigration and notes that the pilgrims were never asked to give their passports to the Native Americans.
TheBlaze noted that Betances and his firm were paid $200,000 in 2011 and 2012 for their participation at the sensitivity training by the USDA.

"I get up and I walk out," Glenn said after listening to the audio. "You know why these people don't? Because their jobs depend on it. You know why these people don't get up? Their jobs depend on it and they're like, 'You know what? It's just not worth it. I'm just going to say the damn thing.' I'm telling you you are slipping into dangerous territory. If your unions are doing this or your government is doing this, you get up and walk out. You get up and walk out. And if the media won't show it, then you got a bigger ass problem. You walk out and you come to my studio. You might lose your job. You know, we all have to decide: What is worth it? In the end of the day, what will we be remembered for? Who were we as individuals? Who are we? What do we stand for? What do you really believe? What are you willing to do for stupid money? I've been broke, man, and I know how hard it is. But in the end of it, the only thing you have is your word. That's the only thing you have is your word. And when you lose your honor and you lose your word, you know that's the most valuable thing and you spend the rest of your life trying to get it back. What are you willing to say? Listen to what these people are willing to say for money."
"I cannot think of anything I've ever heard from the federal government that is more outrageous than this, and I've heard a lot."
"This is an outrage. This is an outrage. This should get to every congressman. This, until they pull all of this and make sure that they rout it out and make sure that it's not in any other department, any other cabinet position, this should have the funding pulled from the USDA. The funding should be pulled. Every congressman should get a copy of this," Glenn said.
